إله الحرب هي سلسلة ألعاب فيديو من نوع الأكشن والمغامرات من إنتاج شركة سوني وهي مستندة على أساطير الآلهة الإغريقية حيث أخذت اسمها من آريز وهو "إله الحرب" عند اليونانيين القدماء، حيث يتواجد آيرز في الجزء الأول من السلسلة كـ عدو لبطل اللعبة وهو كراتوس والذي يريد الانتقام من آيرز لأنه يرى أنه السبب في قتل زوجته وابنته.
Kratos (yun. Κράτος — "güc, hakimiyyət") və ya Spartanın Ruhu (ing. Ghost of Sparta) — Sony Computer Entertainment-a aid olan Santa Monica tərəfindən yaradılan God of War video oyunu seriyasının baş qəhrəmanı. Kratos yunan mifologiyasına əsaslanır. Kratos ilk dəfə 2005-ci ildə satışa buraxılan God of War video oyununda görünmüşdür. Video oyununun müvəffəqiyyəti, baş qəhrəmanı ehtiva edən altı yeni oyunun inkişafına gətirib çıxardı. Personaj ilk olaraq Terrens Konnor Karson tərəfindən səsləndirildi, personajın son təsviri God of War Ascension-da (2013) olmuşdur. The trailer above opens on Atreus, saying a prayer over his mother’s shrouded body. We’re also introduced to a mysterious new female character. The site says that “together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the brutal Norse wilds and fight to fulfill a deeply personal quest.” From what we can see (and what is being said) in the video below, it looks like that quest involves taking the dearly departed's ashes to the highest peak in the realms, which won’t be an easy task for them, but surely a fun one for fans of the Ghost of Sparta. Don't you agree?
